The Pentair OMNIFilter RS18-20 Sediment Water Filter is a 20-inch, whole-house, heavy-duty spun polypropylene replacement cartridge designed to keep your water clean and protect your appliances. This 20" x 4.5", 50-micron filter removes dirt, sediment, and rust particles effectively.
The filter is engineered to work optimally with the OMNIFilter BF55 Heavy Duty Filter Housing, but it also fits all 20-inch heavy-duty housings and can replace any 20" x 4.5" sediment filter cartridge. The gradient density design traps sediment within the cartridge, not just on the outer layer, resulting in better flow rates and reduced pressure drop.
Manufactured with 100% pure polypropylene, this filter is suitable for use on both municipal and well water supplies. It boasts a remarkable 60,000-gallon capacity, and it is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months or when you notice a drop in water pressure or quality.
